Olympia Beer ... 4 dots mean ?

Since I grew up close to where Olympia Beer was made, I wonder if anyone remembers the dots that were on the back of the labels. Olympia Beer came up in another Post but there is so much History behind the Beer, I was curious whether anyone else remembers this famous Beer. It's the water !

I spent a lot of my youth in the state of Washington and remember the commercials, especially the one where everyone in the bar sang the song about "artesians". I believe the four dots refers to the rumor that if you peeled a label off a bottle and four dots were on the back you could go to the brewery and get a free half-rack or case or something.

I just wanted to comment that I have visited the Olympia Brewery many times and it was always a fun time. Back in the 60's you could Tour the Brewery for no cost and sample as much Beer as you wanted for free. The Brewery was in a Little Town just South of Olympia Washington called Tumwater. The Beer was hugely popular with the younger crowd mainly because of the games played because of the Dots on the labels. 1 Dot was 1 st. base, 2 dots ... well you already can guess how it goes ! Believe it or not, I was part of the younger crowd back then ! Great memories when I think back of all those good old days !

Tumwater Falls. I went to Oly HS. They almost sold that building to a water company, but it still sits there looking as shittty as can be. My dad's favorite beer. I always thought the beer sucked myself. No flavor
